1212 Constitution of Rules

1. 12 beers and 12 pieces of fried chicken in 6 hours.
2. Everyone attending the party must attempt the 12/12.
3. Participants must wear official 1212 shirts at all times.
4. Marking rules for keeping track of numbers must be followed:
a. Keeping track of the number of beers and chicken is done via permanent marker on the back of your official 1212 t-shirt.
b. You cannot mark your own shirt.
c. To score a mark for a beer you must turn can upside down over your own head.
d. To score a mark for chicken you must consume all of the skin and meat.
e. If you forget to ask for a mark and throw away the can or bone, you don’t get the mark.
5. All disputes are settled by Joel, with the exception that the rest of the governing board can over rule him by a unanimous vote.
6. Beer will be a standard 12 ounce can and Chicken will be supplied by KFC.
7. Nothing other than beer and fried chicken can be consumed (condiments are alright).
8. Chicken diversification is required; you must eat 3 breast, 3 drumstick, 3 thigh, and 3 wing pieces. Each time you reach a multiple of 4 pieces of chicken consumed, you must have an even number of each type of piece consumed.
9. Preregistration and Prepayment is required to participate.
10. Vomiting results in disqualification; unless you either-
a. Proceed to consume said vomit.
b. or start over at 0/0.
11. Shotgunning of beer is allowed.
12. We will allow hard lemonade in place of beer so as long as the competitor consumes 14 of them, puts a sign on their back that says "I am the pussy that doesn't drink beer", and they wear no pants.
13. The Governing Board consists of Joel (founder), Tank, Siko, & Hsieh
14. Overall consumption amount is the tie breaker for winning the 12/12 cup and in final rankings. 12/12 Completion time is the second tie breaker.
15. Any participant can be banned from 12/12 for life for behavior unbecoming of a 12/12 participant upon a 4-0 vote of the governing board. The participant can be reinstated with a 3-1 vote.
16. If you don't admit that you vomitted and it is discovered that you have, you will be banned from 12/12 for life, unless you are reinstated by the governing board.
17. All beer and chicken must be held down until 6:12am. If you vomit between 12:12am and 6:12am you are required to report it to a member of the governing board.
18. Chicken and beer smoothies are allowed.
19. Beer must only go from the can to the mouth. Thus eliminating beer in beer pong cups and funnelling. (*smoothies are an exception to this rule)
20. Chicken modification is banned. This includes baking of chicken skins. (*smoothies are an exeption to this rule)
21. Chicken will be heated at 212 degrees in the oven, microwaving chicken is banned.
22. Final Standings: Your score is your lowest number of the 2 items. (i.e. 18/15 is treated the same as 15/15, 12/12 completion time would be the tie breaker)
23. A Yellow jersey will be worn by the leader at all times. The shirt will have a cut to allow proper marking. Yellow jersey is given out after the first 30 minutes and will be given to the leader after each 30 minute time interval thereafter.
24. You must wear a official "pink" 1212 shirt if you finish below a female participant in the previous year or your previous 1212 performance. If you were at 12/12 or higher anytime during the party and you finish below any female participant, then you are exempt from having to wear the pink shirt.
25. You must be in attendance at 12:12am to be named a champion. If you leave early then you will not be named an official 1212 champion.
26. Alchohol percentage minimum of 4%.
